Blue Avenue is a hybrid.
It is a band with an incredibly diverse format of grooves, because it actually represents the finest music played by each of the various historical musical projects of band leader Peter MacDonough, as US-born, Sydney-based sax player. The band covers pure and fusion versions of Brazilian jazz, Cuban dance music, Latin rock, Funk, Motown, Blues and most types of jazz.
