The album was recorded in September and October of 2005 over a series of concerts. The venue was Pete’s 881 Club in San Rafael, California in Marin County just north of San Francisco. It features the great James Mosely on guitar, Cris Hanburger on bass, Charles Mirvis on Keyboards, Gary Rubenstein on Percussion, Randy Pelolio on drums and special guest Alan Hall on drums on “Little Sunflower,” “Impressions” and “What’s Going On.”
